This in turn permeates through to our customers and our family of employees.

This culture includes a passion for the safety of every employee, and that passion is manifested in daily safety discussions among all field operations teams, monthly safety meetings for all employees and monthly safety events with special topic emphasis. CablesOne Safety Manager is highly accredited and constantly strives for zero incidents in a high-risk industry. A Safety (HSE) operating group supports him. Safety is our first priority and is always No. 1 at CablesOne.

The CablesOne family believes in a healthy workplace culture, which involves playing sport together and socialising whenever possible with all employees and family members invited to participate. Company-sponsored events are wide in range and include Fitness training, Indoor Football as well as Overseas Product training and Professional Certification.

Sport

At CablesOne, we are establishing a healthy workplace culture by encouraging employees to take part in sport activities and take care of their physical health.

Other than creating an exercise-area for employees to use on breaks and at lunch, CablesOne also sponsors various sport activities such as Indoor Football, Badminton and Swimming. Health club memberships are available for employees who are Gym enthusiasts.

Knowledge Transfer

Knowledge, Skill and Wisdom are the key elements to achieving professional expertise.
CablesOne encourages all employees to exchange their knowledge and experience allowing technical and other skill sets to be improved which in turn results in better project operation.

Knowledge management has never been more important. At CablesOne, this is about transferring knowledge from people's minds into a system where it is shared, stored, referred and used by all employees at different times.

Self Learning

Equipment operation requires time to achieve proficiency and high levels of expertise. CablesOne offers free time for 'Self-Learning' which is open to all employees when and where specialist equipment is available.

A supervisor with full operational knowledge of the equipment being used guides all hands-on practice sessions on-site. Company HSE policies are adhered to at all times during the operation of equipment in this way.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a basic safety requirement for all CablesOne employees. Personal safety while working on-site is of the utmost importance. This safety culture is practiced rigorously and permeates the company.

PPE is equipment worn to minimise exposure to serious workplace injuries and illnesses and at CablesOne includes items such as gloves, safety glasses, shoes, hard hats and coveralls.

Team Communications

CablesOne has created a structure in which workers must depend on one another to produce their best. Group communication is essential for project teams to provide reliable information of work in progress.

Communication between project team members utilises walkie-talkie, email, WhatsApp as well as online project management software tools.
